Welcome one and all to our new website: a special place for friends and supporters of our little specialty food store in Fort Bragg, CA.

Do you like finding out about new and interesting specialty food items that will really pick up your daily menus, and will add new levels of flavor to your own home cooked meals? Are you someone who believes that food can be fun, and that trying new things adds to your enjoyment of food and, perhaps, life in general? This site is for you!

You've seen our commercial site and hopefully made an order or two! At MrCookingUpIdeas, we just want to have some fun! We'll:

If you've been to our store, you've most likely met me, Michael (AKA Mr. Cooking Up Ideas). Jamie, (AKA Mrs. Cooking Up Ideas), is constructing this site (and created our commercial site as well) and will be a HUGE contributor here due to her extensive knowledge of cooking and food in general. Honestly, she blows me away with the sheer variety of "foodie" things she knows!

Speaking of Jamie, I'd like to mention that she has maintained online foodie e-mail lists since 1998, and is considered a "heavyweight" in the internet recipe mailing list world. Her lists, accessed through Cooking-Lists.com, span many foodie interests. If you like to collect recipes, you'll find at least one list for you! Check it out sometime and you'll see what I mean when I say she has something for everyone!
